Marilyn has been performing aerials for 6 years. She specializes in pole and silks but also likes to explore movement on different apparatuses such as corde lisse, lyra and aerial chains. Marilyn pushes her strength and flexibility through performance and teaching. She can be found dancing with silk fan and/or fire fans and takes flight on aerial silks and sling.

Marilyn's performances can be soft and inviting, or dangerous and exotic. She can be still and quiet, or fast and fluid.

What to Expect

Performance Durration varies. 10 mins - 4 hours in sets.

Aerial performances can be either showcase pieces or ambient aerials.
Show case pieces are usually 5-10 mins long with specified music and theme. These can be performed in as a spotlighted performance or during live music or other festivities. Ambient aerials are to whatever music is playing and can be longer sets.
Optional Aerial apparatuses include: aerial silks, pole, aerial sling or hammock, corde lisse, aerial chains, or dance lyra.

Fire Performances include dancing with fire fans and or palm torches. Specialized costuming available upon request. Fire Performances are short but exciting. Can perform multiple acts with splits, backbends, and balancing.

Requirements:
Room or space to relax and change. Water

Aerial Performances:
* Aerialist will ring equipment but will need a ladder or some way of reaching the ceiling
* Exposed structural beams such as I beams, or rafters.
* 6-12 foot space under aerial apparatus
* Guest entry for safety and rigging
