Why hire Marc Hecker?
I have been singing and playing guitar since my teenage years. I specialize in classic folk, blues, jazz, classical, and Israeli music. I appear regularly at local open mic nights such as Old Songs and Professor Java's in Voorheesville and Colonie, N.Y. respectively. I also have performed at Tierra Roasters and the Hudson River Coffee House in Albany. I have been a member of the Capital District Guitar Performance Group. I have served frequently as a volunteer musician supporting the causes of autism awareness and veterans affairs. I would love to enhance musically the celebration of life cycle events such as weddings and Bar/Bat Mitzvot. Demo CDs are available.
