Mahogany Dust

Mahogany Dust has become a breath of fresh air in an otherwise musical environment choking from an establishment of money-motivated individuals who have lost all integrity. I have been a fan of theirs since the conception of “LIVIN” the first project from the dynamic Husband and Wife duo. The first time I had the pleasure of seeing a live performance was at a live showing of Lyric Café here in Atlanta Georgia. The group was surrounded by known talents like Musiq Soulchild, Raheem Devaughn, kindred Family Soul, and a host of other great talents in the Neo-Soul and spoken word arena. It was if they had been performing for some years and they receive great reviews for there professionalism.

Since that time, more than four years ago, the group has not look back and continue to push their craft forward. The second album Experience was just that an experience and the group wowed the fans with an album that was good from start to finish with Songs like “Today”, “It’s All In Your Mind”, “Do What You Wanna Do” and the much needed “Let The Children Play”. This Album was nothing less than a pleasurable joy to the ear as well as the food for the soul. With word and buzz of a new upcoming project, I can only anticipate that Mahogany Dust is going to be one of the top-billing groups of the future.
