A True Professional and great talent
Though the whole process of booking him and getting him to our event, Longhorn was a true professional. You won't find a easier guy to work with. Every time I called him and told him of this change or that change, he would say "It's no problem". He made my job a lot easier.
Now he showed up at our event about 6 hours ahead of time to checkout the venue and see what we had for him. He was funny from the moment he showed up. Now it's 8pm and he takes the stage as our headliner in front of 500 Military Men & Women. It was great. He worked the crowd and did plenty to keep them entertained.
He was so good and easy to work with, we are going to use him for many years to come. He will be back headlining our 2012 Fishing For Freedom Quincy, IL event June 2nd, 2012 in Quincy, IL

Comedy”, and “yes” he is a real cowboy. He was born and raised in Temple, Texas and traveled all over the country. His comedy
comes from his life experiences in Texas and his extensive travels. Longhorn has created a very unique style of humor that he calls “Longhorn Comedy”. Longhorn Comedy is a mix of blue collar, urban, mainstream comedy, and with a dash of great positivemessaging all rolled into one.
LH has been crisscrossing North America and Europe delivering his own brand of “Longhorn Comedy” to his devoted fans in all sorts of venues: from bars, night clubs, and comedy clubs to colleges, military bases, corporate conventions, to even churches. Hailed as one of the most unique acts in comedy, Longhorn The Comedian is the premiere “Black Cowboy Comedian “ working the country today. His act is billed as “The Longhorn Comedy Show,” is just as unique – a hilarious blend of jokes and observations from a “Country Boy’s” point of view. His material ranges from stuff about his kids, current events and past experiences. Longhorn offers a rousing night of entertainment performed with a Texas Flair.
Born Vernon E. Davis, II, in the small town of Heidenhaimer, Texas to a family of “crazy country people”, he quickly learned that the lessons of life are easier to learn if you add just a little humor. There is nothing “off-limits” to Longhorn’s comedic third eye. He takes the events of life as he sees them and then turns them around to show you how it appears to him and why it is funny. Seriously, nothing is sacred, he talks about kids, old people, midgets, past life experiences, current events, politics and whatever else he sees that needs to be humanized. True comedy is life as we all see it but it takes a comedian like Longhorn to turn it around and help you see the humor in it, there is something funny about everything, I do mean everything to include church (one of his favorite topics, his mother was an Evangelist).
