About
It started innocently enough - learning to juggle in a middle school play in her little Iowa hometown. Several years later Laura has made a career out of her passion. Her first performances were at street festivals in her hometown, wowing audiences with fire manipulation.
In 2008 Laura won 1st place at the World Juggling Federation, ranking her as one of the best jugglers in the world. Then on the fifth season of America's Got Talent Laura performed inside her human-sized hamster ball, a prop that was so impressive that it made Howie Mandel exclaim, “I love you! You are my soul mate.”
Never settling for average, Laura has invented props and brought new life to old favorites. She has performed all over the world - at theaters, amusements parks, conventions, Renaissance Festivals, schools, television, corporate events and festivals. She now resides in Des Moines, Iowa with her wonderful husband Ryan.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 10 - 90 minutes
Full Show: You’ve never seen a show like this before- guaranteed. As seen on America’s Got Talent, Laura gets the show started inside her human-sized hamster ball and keeps rolling with juggling, hula hoops, flood light poi, fire and aerial fabric. This 45-minute show is overflowing with original routines, laugh out loud moments and amazing stunts that everyone will love!
Stage acts: Laura has beautiful choreographed routines that will amaze any audience. You can have your pick of several intense routines that are 4 to 10 minutes in length or a combination of three routines that is 18 minutes. Laura's masterful juggling act with 3-5 clubs has a upbeat theme to get your audience pumped up. The completely original flood light poi spins streams of light through the air and leaves the audience breathless. Spin right round with Laura's hula hoop routine infused with dance and acrobatics. Laura will capture the imagination of the audience on aerial fabric while performing breath-taking drops and poses from luminous strands of fabric hung from the ceiling.
Roving entertainment: If you're looking for the ultimate way to spice up an event, you've found it here. Laura will interact with the audience, gathering excited crowds. Perfect for parties, festivals and corporate events! Also, Laura is available for holiday parties as the Human Snow Globe.
Additional Notes:
Performance space must be at least 10’ x 12’ with a 15’ or greater ceiling height.
Wings and curtains on the sides are necessary for entrances and exits.
Audience volunteers need access to the stage (stairs if stage is tall).
There should be a basic lighting wash that is strongest at downstage center, primarily from front and sides, but with a light-free gap making up the center 1/5th so that performer is not blinded when looking up at center to juggle. Backlighting is also important so the performer can see her props in flight and not just see their shadows. (Optional, but preferred)
The ability to do a blackout of house and stage lights.
Quality amp system that will support a headset mic that the performer will provide.
Available power source (plug-in) nearby for mic and leaf blower.
An assistant available before the show to assist the performer into and out of the human-sized hamster ball, if it is included in the show. (Assistant can also be provided by the performer)
CD player or iPod hook-up to play preshow and performance music.
A dressing room/area for the performer with running water and working bathroom facilities, preferably apart from the public.
If Aerial Fabric is included in the show there will need to be at least one load-bearing beam, truss, dead-hung batten, or grid capable of bearing 1000lbs and located at least 15’ above the stage floor, 25’ or higher preferred.
A portable aerial rig can be set up in an indoor or outdoor space of 20ftx20ft with a ceiling clearance of 25ft. Two people will be needed to assist with the set up of the rig.
