About Captain Jack & Nyre:
Piratical Fun, Magic and Entertainment! Entertainment for all ages and occasions. Magicians, Illusioneers, Mentalists, Pirate Reinactors
Biography:
We are active members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, the International Magicians Society, and have been pirate reenactors for over 10 years. We have both crewed on a tall ship pirate reenactment vessel for a couple of years.
Our tricks and illusions will vary depending on the venue. But every show is packed with magic, a little pirate mayhem, some storytelling, and lot's of fun!
We are based in the Sacramento, California area and provide shows in the local area. Most of our shows are private engagements.

Live Performance Overview:
A basic overview of our shows:<p>Parlor - a small scale stage show designed for smaller rooms (living room; small banquet room; etc.)<p>Close-up - This is where a small group sits around the performers table<p>Strolling - is where we walk around and interact with folks performing and telling stories<p>Stage - a show where there is an actual stage and the audience is seated in theater style seating.
Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 90 minutes

We provide our backdrops, stage lighting, sound system and my technical engineer for stage venues.
