PERSONAL
Born September 24, 1973. I fondly refer to myself as a “military brat” and will tell you I am from Colorado, even though I haven’t lived there any longer than anywhere else. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science from Moody Bible Institute (’01) and a Master of Divinity from Columbia International University (’05) where I met and married my lovely wife Jenny while we were both attending seminary. A former French and ESL teacher, Jenny currently works as a stay-at-home mom. Both Jenny and I have a passion to see Christ followers enjoy God and make Him known through the power of Christian community.

TESTIMONY
Raised in a Christian home, I prayed with my mother to receive Christ at the young age of five. Though I understood the Gospel and accepted it as truth at that time, at age fourteen I became more personally aware of my sin and my need for a relationship with the Lord. About this time, I found the Bible on cassette in my grandmother’s basement. As I listened to these tapes, the Lord began to show me that His Word was written for me personally. Through daily Bible study and prayer, I began to see how the Lord and His Word could change me from the inside out. After my first year of college, I participated in a year-long mission trip to the Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan. This experience birthed a desire within me to serve the Lord vocationally and to see the Lord change lives through his Word. The Lord has shown my wife, Jenny, and me the power of a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus; thus, we want our lives to be used to help others discover this same kind of relationship for themselves.

INTERESTS
Hanging out with friends and family, playing guitar, writing songs, watching Austin City Limits, reading the Bible, listening to books on CD, discipling guys on their lunch break, keeping up with Premier League soccer, wrestling with my sons Keaton and Beckett, hugging my five month old daughter Ansley, doing just about anything with my wife Jenny.
