Joy Parkman is a Singer / Songwriter who through the years has heard "you sound just like Karen Carpenter". Many times through the years Joy has brought people to tears because of the memories of Karen were brought back when hearing Joy sing. While Joy has produced two albums of original music, she also enjoys singing the amazing songs of Karen and Richard Carpenter.
As well as singing a Carpenter Tribute, Joy sings covers of other artists such as Nora Jones, Patsy Cline, Faith Hill, Donna Summer, Linda Rondstadt, Mama’s & Papa’s, and many more.
Karen Carpenter/Variety Show Excellent!
Joy performed an absolutely wonderful show for our Del Webb community. We had 180 in attendance for the almost 3 hour show-did not want it to end. Joy does an astounding Karen Carpenter tribute and the Variety show was very entertaining. A great evening!
