I will do my best to lighten the load with funny stories from my life as a drunk and drug addict (of which there are many). Then I hope to take you all the way through to the other side where we will leave the darkness (and it gets really dark) and enter the light. So, let’s get started on this journey, shall we?
I have had the blessed opportunity to hear Mike speak on different occasions and have seen the impact his words and message have had on his audiences. Mike has a gift for captivating his audiences regardless of age or gender, and sending a powerful message in a way that is moving and relatable at the same time. I highly recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a speaker who will definitely make an impact for their event.

John Michael Weber has done it again with his latest book, The Unholy Trinity, Me, Myself and I. It is the follow-up to From Junk to Jesus. The books chronicle Weber's lifelong struggle with addiction and eventual recovery. He is heartbreakingly candid about his drug and alcohol usage and the depths it took him to, yet, the books bring hope to those who have an addiction or love someone who does. Either voulume would be a treasure for any reader, both for the humor and vulnerability Weber projects in his writing and for the hopeful story of grace that his life demonstrates. Having heard John Michael Weber speak, as well, I can attest that his speaking style is equally engaging. Weber is an amazing man with an amazing life story. Whether you read it or hear him speak, his is a story that needs to be heard.

fourth year of growth . Our vision is a passion and
dedication to teenagers, families and friends bound by
the chains of addiction. Ministries under the umbrella
of In the Blink of an Eye Ministries will include a
combination of faith-based and 12 step resources with
the goal of prevention and recovery from alcohol and
drug abuse for teens and support for their families.
We also believe, and acknowledge, that everyone has
a gift and we will have a ministry with the sole
purpose of helping teens discover and develop these
gifts, that they may make a difference in their own
lives and in God's Kingdom.
Finally we believe that we are all God's children and
that everyone is important and necessary in this
world. We are a Christian based, nonprofit
organization that is all inclusive. No teen or parent or
friend will be turned away from In the Blink of an
Eye Ministries for having different beliefs, opinions
or ideas.
John Michael Weber, born May 14, 1958. Raised in Houston, Texas and moved to Columbia, Maryland in 1977. Married February 15, 1984, 2 daughter's Lindsey born August 16, 1984 and Lauren March 27, 1986.
Picked up a drink at age 13, needle in his arm by 15, ended years of abuse on heroin on November 18, 2001. Followed Christ ever since along with meetings of Alcoholics Anonymous. Founded IBE Ministries, Inc. in 2007.
Currently residing in Austin, Texas I have a wonderful relationship with my 2 daughters and even my ex-wife. God has Blessed me and I believe, better stated I know, that I am to do my best to carry the message of the Good News of Christ and share my time, testimony and gifts with those in need of deliverence from drugs.

My name is John Michael Weber. God has allowed me to turn a negative past into a positive present and future. I have been asked to speak at many different venues over the past few years and each engagement has been an honor, privilege and duty that I have truly enjoyed.
I have been to the University of Maryland, Howard County Community College, many High Schools in Maryland and countless churches as well as the Helping Up Mission in Baltimore. I look forward to expanding my horizons and carrying the Good News of Christ wherever I can.
