About Jim Dailakis
Australian Greek actor/writer/comedian and voiceover artist, Jim Dailakis has been touring the USA for the last ten years headlining in the major comedy clubs including Caroline’s, Standup New York, Broadway and The Laugh Factory all in New York City. He's also performed in Las Vegas, The Borgata in Atlantic City, The Cayman Islands and all across Canada. Jim is available for live performances, corporate events and photo ops.
Biography:
Now based in New York City, Jim Dailakis hails from Perth, Australia. What was supposed to be a three-month standup comedy tour has become indefinite due to the overwhelming demand for him to perform all over the USA.
Jim has appeared on television shows on VH1, NBC, and in commercials around the world. He performs at the top comedy clubs nationwide such as; The Borgata, Carolines on Broadway, The Laugh Factory and has performed standup in six countries. He has done extensive work in radio including XM Satellite Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio, and many other stations. A trained actor having studied at schools such as the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, HB Studios, AIDA and private coaching all in New York City, he is renowned for his broad range taking on any accent and any character including, original, and impression voiceover talents.
Jim also writes film scripts and has had roles in films like the award winning movie Mona and played a character with severe OCD in the TV pilot Worst First Date. One of his films already has a signed distribution deal.
