Jeff Wessman

About

Jeff Wessman is a singer, songwriter, and musician based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Though well versed in a diversity of musical styles from jazz, blues, country, and pop, it is the music of the big band swing era and the singing style of Frank Sinatra that grabbed him early on. Jeff performs regularly at weddings, private parties, lounges, and retirement communities, bringing to each performance his enthusiasm for this timeless music and a singing voice reminiscent of the great crooners. Using high quality big band recordings or live accompaniment, Jeff's sets include a Tribute to Sinatra, Celebrating the Songs and Songwriters of the Swing Era (Stories and Song), Seasonal Favorites, and more.

Jeff is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, piano, bass and harmonica.

In addition to singing Jeff is owner of Inner Active Media, specializing in new media marketing and information product production for personal and professional development.

Jeff is also a voice-over talent whose work has appeared on radio, television, audiobooks, podcasts, and computer games. He has two CDs of original music and is a long-time member of BMI and West Coast Songwriters.

I use a quality sound system to reproduce the big band sound without having to squeeze 20 people into a car. A large classy backdrop adds a nice touch to give the feeling of a stage and an orchestra.
