Ishani is simply one of the top belly dancers in the known galaxy. Mixing traditional techniques with her own very unique style, her moves will leave you breathless- so make sure you have a medic on hand. I've had the opportunity to perform with her and sometimes it's hard to concentrate on the music... Her costuming and range of skills from fire spinning to hooping are all top notch, not to mention her natural beauty. On top of all that she is totally professional and a pleasure to work with. Ishani Ishaya has been dancing professionally since 1999, she has studied all over the world and imbibed many different styles of movement including Arabic/Turkish/ Egyptian/Tribal bellydance, Chinese Wushu Kung Fu, Flamenco, West African, Indonesian, Break Beat, Classical Indian Dance, Flow Glow toy and Fire dance.

I have a huge family of firespinner friends and accomplices all over the world! Starting in Asheville NC, all the way up to Portland OR, Humboldt Circus, LA, and into Austin Texas! I have seen and spun with the best!
What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 10 - 60 minutes
I have a large fire staff and two smaller fire staffs, so depending on the gig I can spin either or both quite happily. I am insured through National Association of Mobile Entertainers, (NAME) and always have a designated person ready with water and towel for safety. With my background in bellydance I strive to create a mystical exotic experience of feminine beauty and power, inspiring awe for the magic that inspires us all...
Stage/Setup Requirements:
Stage space or open (no low hanging trees) space at least 10X10 feet. Stereo with ipod adaptor (in some cases I can provide sound also), bucket of water and towel for saftey :)
