Great entertainment for a tropical bridal shower!
I had Hulan play at my bridal shower which was a tropical island theme shower. He played for 110 ladies and he was wonderful! He arrived well in advance of the start time to set up. He was friendly to everyone and smiled the entire time he played. He even dressed the part with his tropical shirt and hat, and was willing to wear one of our leis! He played continuously for an hour which is the time we booked him for before our lunch started. He played all of my requests and ended with my favourite song. The ladies loved the music, and a few even said they wanted to get up and dance. His music really created a great atmosphere and made us feel like we were in the Caribbean. We had a fabulous time and I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for a steel drum player. I am so glad he was able to join us for this special occasion! Thanks so much, Hulan!

Hu made a great impression on an old birthday boy!
We recently held a 60th birthday party for my Dad. As we tossed around ideas for music, it was brought up that we saw Hu play at the Oro World's Fair and he was really good. We thought a steel drum band might be an interesting style of entertainment for our party on a cold December night.
He was very pleasant and his energy and love of music was felt by all who attended. He accommodated requests that we had for music selections and he was very respectful with the volume of his music for our older guests who were hard of hearing and wanted to be able to hear their conversations as well as the music he was playing. The selection of music was extensive and I appreciate that Hu suggested he start playing 1/2 hour earlier than anticipated as all of our guests arrived earlier than expected to our event.
I highly recommend Hu for any party or event. Having a steel drum band is different than a DJ and all of our guests were pleasantly surprised when he started playing. A few guests even mentioned that they liked the Christmas music played on the steel drum, it was different and very enjoyable.
Thank you Hu, you really added enjoyment to Dad's party. We wish you all the best and hope to see you at another event soon!
