Biography:
DAVID HALLUM - SONGS OF SINATRA
It's true, some things really do get better with age. David Hallum has enjoyed singing for more than 30 years. But the Sinatra songbook had to wait for a well-seasoned voice with character and maturity. He first began singing in church, and later as a Singing Cadet at Texas A&M University. Vocal performances were also common throughout his 30 years as an advertising executive and later as a healthcare marketing consultant.
David was classically trained as a violinist. But the great American Standards and the swing band sound captured his heart and the greatest icon of that musical age, Mr. Frank Sinatra, became David's standard.
According to one music industry survey, David Hallum is now among the nation's top rated Sinatra tribute artists. A member of the Las Vegas based Entertainment Network, David performs all over the United States - as a solo act and with his "LUCKY 7" party band or his 17-piece big band.
A Frank Sinatra "tribute artist", David Hallum delivers a stunningly authentic performance. David is not an impersonator. Instead he captures the smooth, rich sound and flamboyant style of the legendary performer. Close your eyes, and it's Frank. In fact, the resemblance is so remarkable that some have insisted he's lip-syncing.
David's show consists of 3 to 4 song sets of Sinatra hits, with optional big band tunes between sets for dancing. Shows can last anywhere from a half hour to three hours. Depending on your budget, this act is available at three levels:
1.) ONE MAN SHOW - An excellent solution for smaller venues or events on a budget. Complete with black tie and the big band sound in a high-end audio system, stage curtain backdrop & professional spotlight - transforming most any venue into a club-like atmosphere! (Also makes great entertainment for cocktail and dinner hour!)
2.) LIVE 7-PIECE SWING BAND - A popular option in a medium price range that combines the excitment of a live show with the affordability many clients desire. Ideal for weddings, social events, fund raisers and more!
3.) LIVE 17-PIECE BIG BAND - with all the effects and swinging sounds of a professional show. This is the real thing - guaranteed to thrill your guests and leave them spellbound! Perfect for grand weddings, big events and larger venues.
If you're looking for a class act that's truly unique and entertaining, an "Evening With Sinatra" is a real crowd-pleaser!
