Frank & Dean Together Again
Rick Michel’s impromptu renditions of Rodney Dangerfield and Archie Bunker are hysterical, while Dave Halston brings to life the unmistakable charm and essence of Ol Blue Eyes. The on-stage chemistry of these two marvelous entertainers is evident from the start. Audiences are drawn to their contagious temperament as they assume the character of the legendary icons. The result is a highly entertaining, 90-minute show with wide audience appeal.
Both entertainers sport impressive on-stage pedigrees:
DAVE HALSTON as FRANK SINATRA
Dave has utilized his vocal skills professionally for more than twenty five years - from his early career days in radio to performing with the elite Singing Cadets. One of Dave’s more notable career achievements is his remarkable tribute to Frank Sinatra. He has been a featured entertainer on major cruise lines and has appeared in elegant showrooms across the country. Dave Halston is at the top of his game.
To date, an extraordinary career highlight was delivering a command performance for Barbara Sinatra (Mrs. Frank Sinatra). Frank’s wife was brought to tears by his rendition of “My Way”. Dave has also performed for Jeanne Martin (Mrs. Dean Martin), again with rave reviews.
From the entertainment capital of the world Las Vegas, Dallas, Chicago, Alaska and beyond, Dave has performed all over the United States.
Dave routinely contributes his talent to a number of charitable causes including the Baylor Healthcare Foundation, various organizations for cancer research and treatment, the Catholic Diocese of South Texas and many local Opera and Symphony Associations.
RICK MICHEL as DEAN MARTIN
Rick Michel has been entertaining for over three decades. He was doing stand up comedy and impersonations before he landed his first singing role in "Grease the Musical" in 1980.
His first performance in Las Vegas was in 1981, when he played at the Tropicana Hotel. Rick has been on stage in dozens of shows in most of the Hotels in Las Vegas continuously since 1989.
He has performed with Rich Little at many Casinos thoughout the United States for over two years.
Rick had the thrill and honor of being invited by Rich to share the stage at the Bob Hope Celebrity Golf Classic, where comedic legend Bob Hope himself was in the audience along with President Ford and Frank Sinatra.
Rick did his incomparable impression of Bob Hope, with the obligatory fake nose, singing "Thanks For The Memories", while Rich Little did his impersonation of Bing Crosby.
Opening for such comedians as Rita Rudner, George Wallace, John Pinette and Bobby Collins. Rick now combines his singing, impersonations and his comedic talents all in one voice, DEAN MARTIN.
