Ernest Brusubardis IV brings a wealth of musical experience, knowledge, and artistry to your special event. Servicing the Greater Milwaukee area as well as Southeastern Wisconsin, his primarily classical chamber outfit is well-versed in a variety of other musical styles, including bluegrass, jazz and traditional folk.
Priding himself on furnishing expert and beautiful renditions for your event - be it a wedding, cocktail party, corporate event, family gathering, or general entertainment - we will collaborate with you to strike the right balance and theme.
Our daughter was married recently at the Villa Terrace Art Museum in Milwaukee WI. We were certainly apprehensive about booking a violinist online, but we could not have made a better choice!
Ernest arrived earlier than scheduled, immediately set up and began to play his violin outside right below the Bride's second floor open window at the Villa Terrace. How perfect was that! It brought tears to her eyes. Throughout the entire event he performed flawlessly, including a special piece he arranged himself of the Bride's favorite song.
We even asked Mr. Brusubardis IV to choose the music, and I'm so glad we did. We were beyond pleased. The wedding guests are still talking about the beautiful day and perfect music. Thank you for making us look amazing!
This young musician will exceed your expectations. I really hope to hear him again someday, and would go out of my way to do so.
Ernie is extremely capable. Not only did he play classical, jazz and (yes) even a pinch of folk/country but he accompanied another musician/guitarist in a rendition of Imagine Dragons' "Radioactive". Ernie can do whatever you need, and he'll do it well!
Price Range: $200 and up

For cocktail music or background music, we will play pieces that are subtle and in the background, so that the guests will notice that there is music, but not so much that the music becomes a focal point of the event. If we play for only one hour, we will not need a break. However, after each hour we require a 15 minute break. For example, if we were hired for two hours of music, we would play for 55 minutes, take a 15 minute break, and then play for the remainder of the event.
For weddings, we typically play 15-20 minutes before the ceremony, and 15-20 minutes after the ceremony or whenever the hall is empty, whichever is first. When the ceremony begins, we often play a piece for the wedding party processional, and another piece specifically for the bride's processional. Any pieces you require during the ceremony will be no problem for us (candle lighting, etc.). We then close the ceremony with a piece for the recessional.
We can also form jazz duos and trios, playing a wide selection of jazz tunes, or gypsy swing, playing for up to 2-3 hours. Perfect for cocktail hours.
I am a Violinist that has put together string ensembles for events, serving the Milwaukee area for 7 years. I have a B.F.A. in Music Performance (Violin) from UW-Milwaukee, a Masters in Music with a String Emphasis from UW-Milwaukee, and two years of intensive Chamber Music experience with the Sorkin Chamber Music Institute. Having performed in several venues including Carnegie Hall, Uihlein Hall, The Milwaukee Theatre, and the Pabst Theatre, with groups including the Trans-Siberian Orchestra have given me the experience in running a successful performance.
Weddings can be incredibly stressful, and my goal is always to make music not to be stressful for the planner or bride. My groups always arrive on time, and can be expected to play music that will fit the mood. If hired, we will do everything we can to ensure that the ceremony will flow flawlessly.
We are currently an acoustic only group. We will bring our own music stands, so depending on the size of a group (duo, trio, quartet) we will require as many chairs. If the event is outdoors, we require adequate shade and protection from the elements, especially rain, due to our acoustic instruments.
Here is a current list of pieces. If you would like us to arrange a custom piece for you to play (a pop song for example) that is also available, for a fee.
