Dynamo Jones is an electric jazz-funk septet featuring the classic sounds of B3 organ, electric piano, guitar, bass, drums & horns. Dynamo Jones draws much of its sound from the era of classic Jimmy Smith and the eternally funky New Orleans based Meters, with hints of the Average White Band and equally pays homage to the modern jazz-funk arrangements of various pop music bands.
Collectively they have played with the likes of Graham Nash, Cold Blood, Mary Wells, Chris Cain, John Lee Hooker, Boz Scaggs, Taj Mahal, Santana and countless others and well are versed in many musical genres including, but not limited to Jazz, Blues, Funk & Rock.
