About

Dr. Raphael Pazo is a professional musician with a vast experience in performing in a variety of events types and venues. A graduate of the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid, Spain, Dr. Pazo also studied at the world-famous College of Piping in Glasgow, Scotland. He owns and performs usings some of the most valuable and unique instruments, manufacturing all his reeds by hand, and art practiced by a miniscule percentage of pipers. The rich tone of music he produces when performing has eanred numerous regional, national and international awards. His domain of both light (usual) music and the Classical music of the Scottish Highland Bagpipe, can move one through a full range of emotions including pride, honor and elegance. Other musical intruments: Violin, Viola, Violoncello, uitar, Mandolin, Bugle, and singing in a variety of languages.

Dr. Pazo is well-known among his students, peers and tutors for his impecable manner of dress; always appropriate to the event at hand, ranging from and informal gathering in a pub to a Tribute to a Departed Loved One or a Fallen Hero in the line of duty, to a Elegant Wedding followed by a jovial reception. He owns one of the nation's most diverse collection of uniforms and has comissioned hand-sewn kilt in various Scottish and Irish Tartans.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 360 minutes

Performances range from wedding ceremonies and receptions, military funerals, celebrations of life, Law enforcement and Firemen Memorials, birthday parties, Robert Burns Suppers,
graduations,golf tournaments, regional, national and internal competitions, and any other event that can be enhanced by the Majestic Sound of the Great Highland Scotttish Bagpipes.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
All performances are paid in advance
I will perform in any suitable venue.

Additional Notes:
Also available as a violinist, and vocalist, performing as a Baritone in several languages. Often sought and commisioned as a composer for special events.

Set/Song/Sequence List:
All regular sets of light music including Jigs, Reels Marches and Strathspeys; Piobaireachd Ithe Classical Music of the Great Highland Scottish Bagppes) and any commisioned compositions for solo performers or a mixed ensembled up to a Marching Band and Symphonic or Philharmonic Orchestra.
