DJ Bliss will provide wedding music done right. Hip but not too hip, accessible to all without getting cliche, I'll work with you to provide the atmosphere you want for your wedding. I will start early, stay late, and am very easy to work with. With DJ Bliss, you can rest assure that your music needs are handled.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 90 - 360 minutes
I will work with you to craft the perfect atmosphere for your wedding. Music's a big part of any wedding, and the responsibility to make sure you're happy with the music played at yours is one I take very seriously. My focus is to make sure that you have a good time, and a key part of that is allowing you as much or as little input as you like for the music of the evening. Some couples like to give me a playlist, both for specific songs and to communicate the type of feel they're looking for, and I'm happy to work that way; alternately, some couples don't have the time, inclination, or musical knowledge to do much of that and they just tell me generally what they're looking for and I take it from there.
My style at weddings generally runs hip but not too hip (ie, approachable for all generations without getting too cliche). For the dance section I (and the audience) tend to like classic dance music rooted in the 1970s. For cocktail hour I would suggest some groove-oriented jazz music a la Grant Green, Bobbi Humphrey, Lou Donaldson, etc. and perhaps some smooth, mellow instrumental electronic music with the same cocktail-hour feel.
