The Dave Capp Project is Orlando's new and exciting Variety/Jazz/Blues Band. DCP combines the talents of professional musicians and plays a variety of styles, including jazz, blues, pop, ballads and rock. Some of the venues DCP has played at include The Marriott, The House of Blues at Downtown Disney, The Portofino Hotel at Universal Studios, The Dolphin Hotel at Walt Disney World, Harry P. Leu Gardens, Gaylord Palms Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, The Daytona 500 and The Plaza Theatre.
The Dave Capp Project has alto/tenor saxophones, bass (stand-up, electric) drums, keyboards and female vocalist. We can perorm with or without our vocalist, background music or featured performance.

The Dave Capp Project is Dave on alto/tenor saxophones, Mo Levy on keyboards, Tony Durrum on drums and Michael Bloomer on bass. Singers, Rita Kay and/or France Neil, our special guest vocalist.
David Capp has been a professional saxophone player in Orlando for 15 years. He playes tenor, alto, soprano and bari saxophones in jazz, rock, R&B, Latin and contemporary Church bands. In addition to "The Dave Capp Project," he plays with the R&B/classic rock group "Timejam," and with other groups around Central Florida. He’s been blessed to play at all the major theme parks, House of Blues, and clubs, restaurants and venues around Florida. Favorite gigs include playing with Mary Wilson and the Supremes at the Ritz Carlton and sitting in with the Italian Swing band, "Viva Venezia," at Disney. We are a 5-piece band but we can scale down to a solo, duo, trio, or quartet-whatever configuration you are looking for. We can play instrumental music without a vocalist or songs with our female vocalist.

What to Expect
Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 300 minutes
DCP combines the talents of professional musicians and plays a variety of styles, including jazz, blues, pop, ballads and rock. The type of performance DCP will play depends on what the client is looking for. If the client wants instrumental background jazz we can provide that. If the client wants dance music with a vocalist we can provide that. We do many weddings, corporate events, jazz festivals, restaurant venues, fundraisers and charity events. Sometimes clients will hire us to play background music during dinner and then more upbeat dance music afterward.

We provide a sound system and only ask for power outlets for our gigs. We can perform on a stage or without one.
