Chillula has 1-6 members to choose from so you can get the sound you want at your budget. From solo guitar/vocals to the full 6 peice band. We play dance, groove, funk style music thats sure to keep your party going. We're not your typical, lame wedding band. We are all in our late 20's early 30's and we play at bars and clubs every weekend, so we are "up to date" with our set list. If you are on a tight budget we can break into a 3 piece band which still sounds very full, or you can go "all the way" with 4-6 guys. We have our own lights and speakers. All we need is a power outlet.

These guys kept our party going! Very professional! The guitarist played some solo guitar while our guests arrived. Then the band played mellow music during cocktail hour. After dinner everyone was dancing. I would highly recommend them for any event. And very affordable for what they do.

Great band! Very professional!
Ive seen these guys at local bars/clubs and at weddings and gala events all over town. Always has the crowd moving and plays at appropriate volumes to match the venue or event. Great guys too!

Chillula is a 6 piece band consisting of guitar, bass, drums, sax, keyboards, and a DJ based in St Augustine,FL. Chillula blends the styles of R&B, Funk, Hip- Hop, Soul, Rock, & Jazz into a sound that everyone can groove to and is sure to fill the dance floor. The compliment that we receive most is how much people enjoy our fresh twist on songs. Although a local band, members are not lacking in experience having opened for acts like Jason Mraz, Collective Soul, & Toots & The Maytals etc. and have toured both regionally and nationally. Chillula is able to play any size venue from small coffee shops and intimate weddings to large festival stages and members pride themselves on being able to adapt to any musical situation required. While mostly playing in bars, Chillula's professional demeanor also makes them an ideal choice for more formal events such as weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

What to Expect
Depending on the party, we will play and act appropriate. If it's a formal dinner type party we can bring the guitar, keyboard, and sax player out and play mellow music for example. We almost always wear collar shirts and ties. We bring our own lights if needed. And play music on the ipod during breaks if needed. Everything you would expect a band to do and have, we do.
