Gorgeous Celtic Wedding Music
Celticado performed for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner. They were courteous, professional, arrived early and stayed late (our guests loved the music and asked them to stay after).
The music was delightful...very tasteful and well presented. We were very impressed with the variety and their ability to perform our favorites with as much passion as their own.
Will hire them back for future events.

I was at a party and heard Celticado for the first time. They were fantastic! Several times I turned my head to look at them because they truly sounded like a big band. The music was lively traditional-sounding and gorgeous. I only wish I could have stayed longer as my wife and I were only there for a short visit. As it was, I got to go meet the fiddler, Adam Sweet and introduce myself.

Inspired by Ireland’s great Irish groups Lunasa, De Dannan, Altan, Bothy Band and Clannad, Celticado's driven pursuit of melody interwoven by rhythm results in breathtaking arrangements that stir the soul and free the mind!
Celticado is the culmination from among the top musical talent in western Massachusetts. Featuring founding member Adam R Sweet (of Woodkerne, Crossing The Pond, Maple Ridge, Swift River, Sweet Blend, Backwoods Medicine) - on fiddle, and Jim Bunting on mandolin, guitar and bouzouki.
Primarily Celtic in nature, the genres covered by Celticado include traditional Irish tunes by Turloch O'Carolan and others, Scottish, Welsh, French Canadian, Nova Scotian and New England Contra; as well as folk songs from the great American Folk history - many of them with roots in Irish and Scottish folk music

What to Expect
Depending on the event, we typically arrive 30-60 minutes prior to the beginning of the event for setup and to coordinate with event planner. We are ready to go, professionally attired on the dot. We are sensitive to changes in plan and will keep an eye and an ear out for any new information. We are flexible in our time, leaving an extra 60 minutes or more if the client should wish us to play longer.
Additional Notes:
We are a self-contained unit and provide our own PA system. We require only grounded power to our location either with an extension cord or outlet; suitable coverage for wind/rain/sun if we are outdoors as our instruments are wood and irreplaceable.
