It has been said that Calvin has never met a stranger. He has always loved the company of other people and enjoyed bringing a smile to their faces. Calvin has an arsenal of stories to tell, most of which are true as well as hilarious.

Biography:

Calvin was born in Lamar, Missouri and spent his early years on a farm located at the western edge of Ozark foothills near Lockwood. His youth was a joyful time - fishing, hunting, sometimes going to school, and helping his folks with the farming chores. Calvin's Dad taught him to hunt and the value of good hard work. His Mom taught him to eat the wonderful meals she prepared, largely from the fruits of their own labors on the farm. They were a tight-knit family and shared good Christian values.

Calvin graduated high school in and soon married Betty Sweeney, a girl he had known for many years. He and Betty yet continue to make their home in the Greenfield, Missouri area. Calvin has worked much of his adult life as a freight hauler for various companies. He and Betty raised three fine children; all of whom are college educated, married and have families of their own. Calvin and wife Betty are long-time members of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenfield.
