A wonderful sound of sweet music by Flora Duo.

Wedding Ceremony Any event should be honored to have such tallent playing for their special day. As a photographer its a wonderful thing to have such sweet sounds playing live in any background, totally worth the booking, you wont be sorry. As for Flora Duo, I know their just as honored to perform for you.

Flora Duo added a touch of class to the ceremony

Wedding Ceremony I must say that Michele and her partner Francine of Flora Duo added the right tone of classical elegance to the recent ceremony that I officiated. They coordinated all of their selections with the design and flow of the ceremony, seamlessly. It was quite memorable to hear then in the background as various segments of the ceremony were performed. It's evident they take pride in their performance and talents. Brides considering a classical element in the wedding should consider Michele and Francine. You will be very pleased.

About

Classical Flute & Violin Duo performing in Ocean/Monmouth County NJ.

Michele/Flute studied the flute at Yale & Princeton Universities and received her Music Education Teaching Degree at New Jersey University, Jersey City. She performs at Drumthwacket/NJ Governor's Mansion & Special Events throughout NJ.

Amanda/Violin received her Violin Performance Degree at the Mason Gross School of Music, Rutgers University, New Brunswick. She performs in many prestigious organizations, including the Garden State Philharmonic, and performs as a "Pit Orchestra" violinist in many NJ Theater Companies.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 30 - 120 minutes

Our Pre-Ceremony Wedding Music Program is comprised of lighter classical selections, as well as selections by contemporary artists, such as Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban, Susan Boyle, Jackie Evanhco, Celine Dion, The Beatles and Andrew Lloyd Webber compositions. This Pre-Ceremony music is performed while the Wedding Guests are arriving, and being seated, in anticipation of the Wedding Ceremony.

We perform all Wedding Processional Entrance Music for the Mothers of the Bride & Groom, Bridesmaids and the Bride's Processional.

Music is performed during the Ceremony, at agreed-upon times. We can provide music to accompany Readings, after the Vows, during the Unity Candle/Sand Ceremony, special musical dedications/remembrances, etc.

Finally, a rousing Recessional Selection is performed. We continue to perform this selection until the final Guest has recessed from the Ceremony area.

During our Cocktail Hour performance, light classical selections, Broadway Show tunes and selections by Contemporary Artists are performed.

When requested, we will always prepare specific requests for your Wedding or Special Event.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
We are fully equipped & bring all equipment, music stands, chairs, etc.

Additional Notes:
Unobtrusive, battery-operated amplification is used at all Outdoor Events, so that Guests can comfotably hear the music.

Amanda hand-picked her new violin -- which she performs with, at all events -- after carefully trying many violins, before choosing her current instrument.

Michele's flute is a Brannen Brothers hand-made flute, with brogger mechanic, several customized features and a handmade, custom headjoint by David Williams.
