Brian Riggs began his guitar studies at the age of 18 with Norman Ruiz in Chicago. He soon was performing, inspired by the guitarists who influenced him the most, such as Julian Bream and Andres Segovia. Later studies and performances have taken Brian from Spain to Montana, with many stops in between. A graduate of the Chicago College of Performing Arts, in addition to being dedicated to teaching Brian brings his love of music and guitar playing to New York City.
