I had been watching BJV online and was anticipating his live performance at my client/friend's Wedding. I was instantly Star Struck, BJV has that magic that makes you stop right in your tracks. His voice and performance was so soothing and exciting because he is So Good!! I felt like I was the only girl in the room ~ but alas there were other ladies star struck too! When Bobby Jo started to play, the Bride Lit UP ~ His voice is enchanting! He played during dinner & for the "First Dances" and he was Just Perfect , he made these special moments even better because he is One of a kind!

Where to start, there is something special and magical about Bobby Jo Valentine!! Beautiful music with the type of warmth and personality that makes you feel like he's been one of your best friends even after meeting him for the first time. Bobby Jo helped me create the perfect night and perfect proposal for my recent fiancé and me in Kauai during the end of May 2013. So thankful for all his help (feedback) and patience during the months of planning and last minute detail changes. I couldn't give a higher recommendation (and for those that know me that is extremely hard to get from me)! I can't wait to fly him to Chicago next year to have him play at our wedding! 5 out of 5 stars (is a 6 out of 5 star rating possible?)!

Bobby Jo Valentine is an award-winning singer/songwriter from the windy, rocky cliffs the San Francisco Bay Area. His first album, ‘A Place to Belong’ released to favorable reviews and his single “Be Mine” had radio airplay even before the album’s release. His warm, accessible melodies and often-profound lyrics have developed a following around the nation. In August of 2011, a song from the album, “Fly” won Song of the Year at West Coast Songwriter’s Association. Most recently, he was filmed in a commercial for the new 2013 Ford Fusion.
His new album "Home" attacks matters of the heart with catchy choruses and a wonderful team of musicians behind him. Calvin Turnbull is at the producing helm, who has worked with Sheryl Crow, Five for Fighting, and other greats; David Hayes, known best for his work with Blondie and Van Morrison, brings his timeless sound to the bass tracks; and Dave Tweedie, one of the biggest drummers in the pop industry today, adds melodic, catchy rhythms to the light-hearted melodies that echo Bobby's surprising lyrical depth for a 26-year old growing up on the coasts of Northern California.
