    Hi Steve and Mark,

Thanks for sharing these great memories with us.
It was really nice getting to meet both of you. And thanks for the tee shirt too. I’ll look forward to getting my site on Gig Salad up and running.
Hope to see you again next year.

    Thanks again,

    Sharon aka “Martha”

  2. Steve Says:

Mark Steiner: I have an idea for Larry Graves: an FDR impersonation based on one created by Art Carney when FDR was in his prime. My uncle was with Art in the Horace Heidt band when he developed the routine. It is based on a mythical FDR program to relieve unemployment by moving the Atlantic into the Pacific and the Pacific into the Atlantic by means of a transcontinental bucket brigage. (I finally confirmed my memory of the routine today in a Carney biography. ) I am sure President would not take offense; besides, he often uses self-depreceating routines. Call me at 631-239-5162 anytime.
