Curtains Up!

This month, we have launched Gig Soup, the free entertainment classifieds. We set it up to make it easy for talent buyers, bands, festival producers and more to post a notice as they’re looking for entertainment, and make it easy for performers who are looking for gigs. It’s free to post a gig, and it’s free to see gigs if you’re already a Gig Salad member. The exciting thing about Gig Soup is that it doesn’t replace our current gig inquiry system… we have created this as an add-on to give our members even more gig opportunities.

Gig Soup gig postings will come from 3 sources:

• Opportunities that come to us through our network of websites, including Steiner Talent, Talent Salad, Book The Best, directly from talent buyers, festival producers, agents, casting directors, and other industry professionals
• Opportunities that we find through other public postings and industry contacts
• Opportunities that come when one of these industry professionals or private party planners fills out the form at GigSoup.com.

These gig opportunities will be visible to our paid members who can respond to any posting without cost. Just another free course in the talent banquet!
