My grandson saw one of these inflatable movie screens at a friends house and told me how cool he thought it was. I didn't have a clue what he was talking about, who would have thought that such a thing existed. Later I decided to try look it up and had planned on buying him a screen for his birthday until I saw what everything cost. Then I looked to see if anyone rented them and I found Blazing Star. Sent them an e-mail and they sent me back a quote, I believe it was about $350 which was more then I had wanted to spend, but I decided I would surprise my grandson for his birthday.

His mother sent him out with his brother on the day of his birthday and we had Blazing Star come a bit early to set-up while he was gone. We he got home he saw this really big movie screen all set-up in our back yard and went nuts jumping up and down. His mother invited about 10 of his friends over and I don't think they stopped playing his x-box once during the party.

Made us look like SuperStars

Our company hosted a client party attended by approximately 800 of our top clients, as well as our staff, and while searching for different evening activities we happened across Blazing Star Cinema. After speaking with them on several different occassions and getting their input we decided to book two different screens for the evening as well as several other "live" event entertainers and some typical movie theater snacks. They set-up their 30' screen for the adults and a smaller 16' for all the kids in attendance.

The evening went off without a hitch, their crews really had their act together, and our customers loved it. I would absolutly encourage anyone to call and talk to these guys!

Disappointed - unresponsive

We were excited about the possibility of hiring this company for our son's birthday party, but due to the lack of professionalism we won't be using them. I guess they aren't that interested in our business, as it was impossible to get any returned phone calls: first left voice mail message on July 8... waited until July 15 for return call and received none so called again. Was lucky enough to "catch" the owner (Chris) who said he didn't remember getting any message. I left another message on July 16 with some possible dates that would work for us and asked for a return call - received none. Not being able to wait another week (as I did last time) I called (twice) again on July 18 and again asked for a return call - received none. Called again on July 19 and was luckily able to "catch" the owner again. He didn't acknowledge having received any of my messages and had no record of the dates I left on the message for a booking, and wanted me to repeat all the information again. I informed him that we were disappointed in his lack of interest/professionalism and would'nt be using his organization. He stated the lack of returned calls was because he is a full-time fire fighter and is the only one answering the phones. I'm a big advocate for the small business owner and the challenges that along with that, but 6 phone calls trying give someone my money for their service without success or a single returned call is too much for me. Phone calls are typically returned as quickly as possible but during extremely busy times in the season it can take 24 - 48 hours. After speaking to the potential customer in this instance we had suspicion that this caller was a competitor fishing for information.

I think current and previous reviews will hold testament to the fact that our clients have experienced nothing but excellent customer service and their events have all be great success'. We pride ourselves on our services, the quality of our equipment and event hosts.

If this reviewer is indeed not a competitor and our suspicion's were incorrect not only would we publically apologize we would offer to host their party free of charge, on an available date, allowing them the opportunity to re-review our services.

"Disappointed" Review - Reply to Owner

Just a quick reply that I/we are not a "competitor" and I have no idea why he would say this, (other than because we shared our disappointing experience).

I'm not sure that anyone will ever be able to read this reply, as I have noticed that this company has now removed the "Reviews" section from their web site and site map, and only shows the reviews on the "booking" page. Personally, I think it's a fair business practice to show ALL reviews in an honest and open way so that consumers can choose.

I'm not sure what he meant by returning calls within 24-48 hours - we tried SIX times over an ELEVEN day period to reach this company without a single returned call. We left specific dates on phone messages indicating we wanted to book a party with our credit card.

I am glad that other customers have had a good experience after booking a party, although I have to wonder how many others were never able to book anything to begin with (like us). I guess I am just saying it was very frustrating being left in "limbo" for 11 days without someone having the courtesy to return a phone call so that we could know - one way or another - if we should contact someone else to help us with our son's party. We are now left in a difficult situation, trying to find another company who can provide the same service for the date we need.

We just wanted to share our experience in an objective, factual way, and hope the same doesn't happen to someone else. We really do wish this company all the best, but encourage better communication so that customers aren't left in a "bind" like we were. Thanks!

Everyone loved it and found it so unique. The staff is very efficient and discreet when setting up. I'm certain I will be using them again...just need to find another excuse to do so.

Working with Blazing Star Cinema for our first outdoor movie night was amazing. The event was a huge success and everyone was very impressed with the quality of service we received! I could have not found a better company to provide a great end of the year celebration! The contract we received was very detailed leaving no questions unanswered when planning an outdoor movie showing. The communication and help provided to make the event run smoothly was wonderful! We look forward to our next event with you in the future! What a great way to end the school year!

ALL STUDENTS LOVE THE INFLATABLE MOVIE SCREEN. ALL STUDENTS ARE DEAF, THEY LOVE THE SOUND EFFECT THAT THEY CAN FEEL FROM THE SPEAKER. THE WORKER IS VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND TAKING CARE EVERYTHING WHEN HE SET IT UP AND TEAR IT DOWN WITH OUT ANY PROBLEM. THE SCREEN IS PERFECT WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. Just yesterday, I used Blazing Star Cinema for my sons 6th birthday movie themed party and it was the best choice I ever made!!! There service is great. The guy that came to set-up the screen in my backyard was so nice and he even interacted with the kids til movie time. My son said it was his best birthday. And every parent that came loved the idea and wanted to use there service as well. I will definitely recommend them as well as use them again myself.

I hired Blazing Star Cinema for my son's 9th Birthday Party. I had about 20 kids, ages 5 to 12, boys and girls. Before the screen was due to arrive the kids lined up in chairs in my yard and waited patiently. When the screen arrived and the music started playing, they were fascinated.

A few kids came up to me and said this is the best Birthday Party they have ever been to. It really was, even parents pulled up a chair and hung around for the movie.

Blazing Star Cinema, exceeded my expectations, the staff was extremely nice, patient and professional. They were equipped with everything they needed, even brought their own bug spray.

From the beginning stages of planning, booking and actually doing the party this was an easy, friendly, affordable birthday party. I would highly recommend this service and book them in the future for other events.

As an event planner I am very particular. We loved the Blazing Star Cinema experience, it was super cool! We will do it again in a heart beat! Very affordable as well. Service awesome, right on time, and awesome friends experience. We'll probably book it again on Labor Day weekend!

Chris from Blazing Star Cinema was phenomenal. His whole set up was amazing- great picture and sound quality. He was very responsive to our questions during the planning process, and was professional and efficient the night of the party. It was such a success that we already rebooked him. I highly recommend this company- you will not be disappointed!

The movie and services was absolutely extravagant. I rented the outdoor movie for my daughter’s 10th birthday party and it was absolutely extravagant. The picture was great and the sound was clear, it was as though we were truly at the drive in movies. The level of professionalism was magnificent. The set-up and take down process was very smooth and everyone at the party and all my neighbors really loved it. It would most definitely refer Blazing Star Cinema to others as well as use them again myself in the future. Definitely 5 star service provided.
