About

Hello! My name is Victoria Squire. I am a face painter with a background in art and graphic design. My life has always involved art in some way, shape, or form. I have always been interested in bright colors, transformations, connecting people to art, and making other smile. After a series of events I was drawn to professional face painting and body art services. I like how face painting allows other to express another side of their selves and draws people to one another.

I have had the priviledge of painting kids and adults, having them relax while being painted, and seeing the looks on their faces when they see how great they look. Nothing beats seeing everyone's big grins.

I am Marylander. I am originally from the Baltimore/ Towson area, but have been living in Montgomery County for the last 13 years. In addition to painting, I enjoy fish keeping, swimming, and making music.
I make it my mission to provide a fun, magical experience through face painting and body art.

I not only paint for the those attending the event, but also for the host. I help draw people to your event with marketing (social media, word of mouth, etc.), invitations, activities, and providing safe entertainment so you can be at ease. I want to meet your event needs. What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 60 - 480 minutes

Big Grins provides a fun, safe, and memorable experience with quality face painting, glitter tattoos, airbrush face painting, airbrush tattoos, or body painting for parties and events. Guests excitably anticipate time with the artist, guests love watching the transformation, and everyone delights in seeing the results and reactions. Usually adults get in on the fun. Big Grins is the hit of the party time and time again.

Big Grins is ready to paint within 2-3 minutes (about 5 mins for airbrush art). Guests choose a design. Guest of honor and family go first. Requests are welcomed. When possible, the artist customizes or embellishes a design to suit guests and asks favorite colors. Big Grins is patient and gentle and strives to make guests feel special and comfortable. No one is painted against their will, the design choice is up to the guest, and areas are avoided as needed.
BASIC FACE PAINTING PACKAGE: 44 designs (full face, half face, cheek/arm art)
THEME PACKAGES: designs match almost any theme
PRINCESS, SUPER HERO, PIRATE PACKAGES: designs match theme, artist decorated in theme, activities are available for guests waiting to be face painted.
GLITTER TATTOOS & AIRBRUSH TATTOOS: This can be a standalone package or added on. Glitter tattoos and airbrush tattoos are very popular with all ages, last 3-7 days, waterproof, great for larger crowds
AIR BRUSH FACE PAINTING: Perfect for hot, humid weather or water activities. Run/smudge proof, easily removable w/ soap & water

Stage/Setup Requirements:
small area for a small table (at minimum); space for 2 chairs preferred; can bring table and chairs if needed

Additional Notes:
SUPPLIES: Big Grins uses cosmetic grade supplies that are made specifically for face and body art. I do not use acrylics I predominantly use Paradise and Starblend face paint from Mehron (made in the USA) and have some colors from the Diamond FX, Wolf FX, and FABA brand. These face paints are cosmetic grade and are manufactured in compliance with FDA regulations with FDA approved ingredients. I use Vibe airbrush face and body paint when airbrush face painting or doing body art. I use Endura airbrush temporary tattoo ink (lasts 3-7 with care).

REMOVAL: Basic face painting (non-airbrush) is removable with soap and water. Some use a baby wipe or make up remover to wipe make up off. Other lather the face with cleanser or baby shampoo to "activate" the make up and make it easier to remove. Darker colors may initially leave a "shadow" which may require a second washing in a few minutes. NO SCRUBBING is required. All makeup is removable.
Glitter tattoos and temporary tattoos can be removed with alcohol or baby oil.

We adhere to a cleanliness routines and do not paint on people that are visibly ill or have open cuts or sores.
