About Dennis Jones:

Welcome. My name is Dennis Jones, singer/guitarist. I've been a professional musician in Atlanta for decades and have played thousands of shows in my career. After playing lead guitar in some great Atlanta bands I am now a one person show providing live acoustic music straight from the heart without the use of backing tracks, drum machines or loops. Wedding receptions to boat parties to charity events. I love music and music has been good to me. Life is great. When I'm on stage I capture and deliver the music with feeling and emotion that is in every song I play. My show is always fun, professional and energetic. Give me a call today. Biography:

I have been playing guitar since I saw The Beatles on The Ed Sullivan show. That may be longer than some of you have been alive. Over the years I've played many different styles in many different situations. These days I'm happiest with my acoustic guitar in hand singing and playing everybody's favorite songs. I have worked with many artists and had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people in the Music Business. I've traveled the "road" with some popular regional acts over the years and I don't regret any of it. Karen and I married in 1972 (That lucky woman)and we are still together and "still crazy after all these years". Two daughters, a son-in-law and a grandson later, we are still standing. Gotta love it. Some bands I've played with include The Groove Movement, The Funky Soul Train, The Alleykatz Band, The Stutz Brothers Band, Micropolis, The Ron Kimble Band, The Swingin' How-R-Yuns, The Blackbirds, Men In Blues and a few others that are kinda fuzzy. My long career has allowed me to share the stage in either warm up or showcasing situations with several bands including Janis Joplin, Mothers Finest, Peter Rivera and Rare Earth, Maceo Parker, The Chambers Brothers, Dickie Betts, Hydra, The Drifters, The Platters, Arthur Conley, The Atlanta Rhythm Section and many others over the years. Yes folks, life is good. And the best part is...I'm still playing music and it is just as much fun as ever. If I left anything out just call me and we'll talk about it.
