About

Alessandra performs regularly as a solo artist throughout the Seattle area, including being one of the house dancers at Spiro's Greek Island, and is sought after as a performer at private parties and events. She is also a member of two troupes: Khan Il Khalili, which does interpretive Middle Eastern dance, and Karavans, which does Middle Eastern folkloric dance. Alessandra won the title of First Runner-Up in the 2010 Emerald Rain Belly Dance Competition - Persephone category. She is also a GoddessLife Certified Belly Dance Instructor since 2010, and a certified teacher through Tamalyn Dallal's Teacher Training in Interpretive Middle Eastern Dance since 2012. She currently teaches classes at LA Fitness, and previously also taught at Fresh Fitness and Dance. Alessandra has studied with some of Seattle's most talented and respected teachers, including Delilah, Dahlia, Mish Mish, Alimah, and Nadira. She has also studied with internationally renowned belly dancers, including Tamalyn Dallal, Mahmoud Reda, Aziza, Princess Farhana, Dolphina, Ruby, and Aubre Hill. Alessandra has also studied ballet, jazz, and salsa. Rounding out her development as a dancer, is Alessandra's 20 plus years as a violinist, which contribute to her understanding of musical phrasing, rhythms, and interpretation.

What to Expect

Typical Gig Duration: 10 - 60 minutes

Sahara Nights Show - Starting at $190
A glittering classic belly dance show like the kind you would see in a restaurant. Show is 20 to 25 minutes in length and can include use of various props (finger cymbals, isis wings, sword, veil and/or cane).

Sequins & Shimmies Party - Starting at $250
Having a girls party? Make it a night to remember with a belly dance party. Alessandra performs a mini show for up to 15 minutes, followed by a 30 minute group lesson for you and your guests. Learn moves that you can take straight to the dance floor! Hip scarves can be provided for use during the party or for purchase. Perfect for bridal showers, bachlorette parties, baby showers, and more.

Eternal Sahara Nights Show - Starting at $300
This is the double classic belly dance show, comprising two 20 to 25 minutes sets, with a costume change in between. Alessandra will perform one full set, and then after a costume change, will come back to perform a completely new routine with new music and new props.

Sparkling Silks Show - Starting at $140
Looking for fun and unique entertainment but operating on a budget? Then pick this mini bely dance show for a shot of spice. Alessandra performs for 12 to 15 minutes, including the use of props.

Stage/Setup Requirements:
A dance stage or area free of liquid and debris.
A stereo or sound system that plays either CDs or MP3s.
