About booking Choirs

Choral Ensembles can be the perfect choice for any corporate event, wedding ceremony or concert event. Choirs generally consist of multiple groups of certain vocal types that combine for a unified choral harmony. Choirs were popularized through the church and therefore Gospel Choirs are often a very popular choice for private events and church functions. Choral ensembles can perform with or without music. Those that perform without are generally called a cappella singing groups (also referred to as doo wop or barbershop). If the choir is accompanied by music it is often a piano or organ, but sometimes a band or orchestra.

Some things to consider when hiring a Choral Ensemble or Choir is to make sure you listen to audio and watch video clips. This will ensure that you truly do book the best for your next event! Next, you want to get references. Talk to people in the area about the choir and get feedback. Finally, get a contract. Many professional choirs or ensembles require a deposit to secure them at your next event. Make sure to read through the contract carefully before contracting the choir for your event.
