You can expect singing, juggling and light comedy. Possibly a custom song about the birthday person or a story song about the couple getting married. Covers of your favorites (open to all genres) or my favorites (folk or show tunes). Juggling is with balls, clubs, hula hoop. I love audience participation, and will oversee music related games for younger children, or suggestion based musical improv for all ages.
The Tuneful Bard is at your service. She can sing. She can act, She can juggle. And maybe she can do all three at the same time.
She hails from Brooklyn, and she comes to you with experience in musical performance and composition. Do you want her to sing and play piano? OR do you want her to sing and juggle?
Do you want her to lead a birthday party for of toddlers through a sweet singalong? Or do you want her to deliver a set of songs, either curated completely by her or suggested from you. Maybe you just want to watch her do her thing and dazzle you with her juggling prowess.
Maybe you even want a new, original song specifically catered to your event. Parodies welcome too. The Tuneful Bard is here to deliver.
With an MFA in Musical Theater Writing, years of music training, and the experience of piano and voice teacher, the Tuneful Bard is available for your melodic needs today.
If at a park or in a private home, amplification is not necessary. If I'm bringing my keyboard, I will need an outlet to plug it in, possibly an extension cord depending on the layout of the space. I do have my own extension cord, but it may not end up being long enough (based on the layout of the space).
If in a larger venue like a church or catering hall, amplification (a microphone) for my instrument and/or voice will be necessary.
If you want me to juggle or hula hoop, I will need a 7 x 7 square foot space to move around in.
