Welcome to Mr. Bill the Face Painter, where YOU become the work of art! I have been face painting for over 12 years and enjoy turning children into Superheros or their favorite Princess.
My work includes full face designs and small cheek art. If you have a party theme, I will create one-of-a-kind designs for your guests to choose from that will complement your theme.

Mr. Bill was awesome!
Mr. Bill is creative and so kind. We had a large line of kids who still wanted face paint when he was getting near the end of his shift. He stayed until all of the kids got what they wanted. He is very patient and very talented!
Thank you for reading.
Mr.Bill took amazing care of us. He was so friendly and happy. The service he was a very comparable rate. After staying longer to complete the kids that were in line I would say we definitely got a deal. You can see that he truly does this for the kids which made my heart extremely happy. Thanks Mr.Bill our community is very grateful.

I have known Bill for 45 years. We went to high school together and have kept in contact over the years. I can attest to Bill’s high level of responsibility, dedication, and creativity. As a first grade teacher at Edison Elementary in Appleton, I had Bill come in to teach a lesson on logos to my first graders. He gave an awesome presentation to my class about how logos are designed to catch the consumer’s attention through the use of color and font size and design. He adapted this lesson so that it was interesting and easy for my students to understand. Then he had the students design their own logos for their names and present their designs to the rest of the class. My students were thoroughly engaged in this lesson and Bill interacted with them in a positive and motivating manner. After the lesson, Bill proceeded to face paint a design of their choosing on each of their faces. To say he was a delightful guest speaker in my classroom is an understatement! My students were overjoyed!
On a personal level, Bill is a confident, intuitive, patient, and enthusiastic individual. He is a talented and experienced artist. He is an asset to the art field in general, and certainly to any institution fortunate to secure his employment.

To Whom It May Concern:,
I am happy to write a letter of recommendation for William Roberts. I have known William---or Mr. Bill as we affectionately call him, for about 8 years through The Mission Church. I direct children’s ministry and William has been one of my volunteers. He served at many kid’s events as our expert face painter. William is very talented as well as good with the kids. He also served in Arts Camp, our annual event for area kids to deep dive into the arts.
William has always been faithful to follow through with every event he committed to. He is an accomplished artist and I felt very blessed to have him as part of our art team.
Feel free to contact me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Jody Muck

I am proficient in several artistic mediums. Earning my BFA in Advertising Design from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire (Blugolds) in December 1982, William Roberts has led a life focused on others. He draws significant influence from this service, as well as from his surroundings at home. William is known for his exceptional design skills and writing ability. Having worked for Fortune 500 companies (General Mills, Aveda, Del Monte Foods) and smaller corporations, he has a deep understanding of what it takes to be successful. One of his proudest achievements was being part of a team that won a Golden Lion at the Cannes Film Festival. The award is given annually for the best television commercial in the world. His focus has now turned to face painting, and fine art, specifically abstract cold wax/oil painting.
Other schools attended include Arizona State, the University of Minnesota, MCAD (Minneapolis College of art & Design), Science Museum of Minnesota, Easel Training and recently applied to the MFA Graduate program at SMU in Dallas.
I offer safe face painting, with glitter and hope to book with you soon to make your party an event to remember!
I use Snazaroo, Tag, Silly Farm rainbow cakes, and Fab face paints in a wide variety of colors. They are FDA compliant and meet cosmetic safety regulations. I take cleanliness seriously and use water-based paints which are easy to remove with soap and water.
I adore children because of their imagination, creativity and whimsy, since I myself am the same way. I not only create beautiful works of art on the little ones, but actually engage with them! I want their input so that we can collaborate together. For that moment a child is an imaginative artist. I love to make up stories as I paint on them helping create their own legendary adventure, whether it be a woodland fairy or a swashbuckling pirate on a crusade! We develop fun names together and decide what land they're from and where they're going. What magical powers they possess.
I love everything from fantasy, fairies, butterflies and glitter, to zombies, day of the dead and monsters. I can paint anything from a full face to a small cheek design. If you have a party theme, I will create one of a kind designs for your guests to choose from that will complement your theme. I offer safe face painting, and glitter application. My art is for all ages.
I have many references and professional recommendations as well.
